Greetings!
I hope everyone is enjoying life at the moment! I also hope you're enjoying the season, because guess what? It's still hot and green in Texas! No beautiful colors or anything!!! Fall is boring down here.... anyway, Transfers are coming up soon. They will be on Oct. 31. I wont know if I'm moving or not until the 29th. So, please send mail to the Eldridge building starting Oct. 25 until I get you a new address.
So, I've had my second baptism! It's so exciting being a part of these peoples lives! It's a tender mercy to be here! I tell you what, I'm not the one doing any of this! I'm just grateful to be able to witness it happening.
So, ----'s baptism was AMAZING! She invited a lot of people that aren't yet members including her family, and they came. Her mother was crying, and it was just a beautiful experience! She has been looking forward to this since the first lesson, and she was so grateful for the opportunity to become a member of the Kingdom of God. She was shining even brighter when she received the gift of the Holy Ghost! I can't express it!
We watched conference with her, which was STUPENDOUS. She really liked Sister Dibb's talk, and Elder Ballard's. She bought us all Bee charms to remember his talk (because we're all little bees sharing and spreading the gospel and Christ's love), and she made us I'm a Mormon shirts! However, the Elders stole them! Don't worry we got them back, and I have wonderful pictures to share with you because of it! :)
Our shirts and Elders ---- and ----. They are the best! |
Me, Sister ----, ----. |
----, Sister ----, me. Before the baptism. |
Okay, these last two I can't explain. They have islands on the side of the road with trees and stuff in this one part of town. And I have no idea why?! So I had to share. |
I've got to go, I'm sorry the last few e-mails have been so short, but you got pictures! :)
I hope you have a wonderful week! I'd love to hear from you!
Love you forever and ever!
Forever,
Sis. Chris.
