Hello everybody! Hope all is well! I'm sure everyone is enjoying some nice cool weather...or has it started warming up a little? ;-) All I know is that life down in TEXAS was CRAZY!!! I went on two exchanges last week, and one of them I went to a bike area just south of my area. It was so much FUN!!! I loved it! It was a lot of hard work, and we came home purely exhausted, but it never felt so good to be so exhausted, because I was exhausted for the Lord. I biked up a storm- got my first sunburn for the season. Always exciting, right? :-)
After that back in my area, we taught like crazy. We tried anyway. I know that there are at LEAST 1,000 blessed, loved, and prepared children of Father that need to have the strength and endurance that comes from entering into coventants and being a member of Christ's Kingdom on the earth. I really do want to be a part of it, and I'm trying.
I am so grateful that I can be down here in Texas and labor ( and it is a labor) in the Lord's vineyard here. There is power in that calling and in that opportunity. I pray that you see the miracles of the Lord in your lives like I see them in mine. I can't really explain the awe in my heart of the love our Heavenly Father has, and how intricate His design truly is. We each of a divine role and purpose. As men and women, as sons and daughters, and more powerfully as ourselves. We lived with Heavenly Father, He knows us! And far better, He knows our hearts and what we can become.
Anyway, I'm sure you are all more interested in some crazy stories or something....which I'd love to share. ;-D This last Saturday there was a CRAZY storm down here in Houston.
It was pretty much the coolest thing EVER! :-) Until....I was driving down the road and the road turned into a river. True story. The road had waves ....roads shouldn't have waves. Or maybe it's the new thing. I don't know?
Nevertheless, I made it out safe and so did my companion. The car had seen better days, which is a whole other story I'm not sure I have enough time to tell. ;-)
Because the car was a little out of service Sunday and Monday, my area turned into a bike area! ;-) I was biking up a storm. And I met some crazy people! Couple of people hit on us, a couple just stared at the white girls riding by, one even kissed us....that was weird. But I survived. Barely.
Mmm....So much more to talk about, why is there never any time?! ;-)
Sorry, I didn't e-mail on Monday- we switched P-Day so that we could go to the temple today. But then a family emergency came up with the sister who was giving us a ride, and we couldn't go. We'll try again soon though. ;-)
Know that I love you lots and I pray for you. Peace be the journey.
Don't forget to do your family history work! ;-)
Forever,
Sis. Christopherson
