Hello, Hello to all my dear friends and family!!!
So, lots of fun and exciting things to talk about. For starters, Heavenly Father has been super kind to me these last few days. He has just been pouring out His tender mercies, far more than I deserve!
Guess who was at church this Sunday?! The Beautiful ---- ----! She is down visiting, because she lives in Layton, Utah now. It was so exciting to see her and catch up! She is doing well, she is preparing to go on a mission! ;-) She is doing amazing things. She goes to the Salt Lake Temple and does baptisms, and all sorts of fun stuff. It was just really amazing to see her!

Also, we as missionaries decided that we were going to make like 1,000 cookies and give some to every one in our ward with a little note of encouragement to do the Lord's work, and a QR code to the "I'll Go Where You Want Me To Go" video from the missionary broadcast. I'll attatch a copy of the note. Anyway, we were trying to do an anonymous act of service that would also inspire the hearts of this ward to join in the work of salvation and sharing the gospel! However, that's A LOT of cookies!!! And the Elders and us each only had one normal sized cookie sheet....that was a long process! ;-) But I believe it will help inspire the ward! Do you happen to have any ideas as to activities I could do to strengthen my ward? I'd love to hear anything you have to offer!

And last, but not least, we had ----'s baptism yesterday! It was amazing! She was really nervous, but it went well. I'm always so blessed to witness a baptism. They've been some of the most spiritual experiences that I've had out here, other than going to the temple. There is something about making covenants that just brings the Spirit unrestrained! Probably because they bind us to Heavenly Father through the Son and the priesthood. :-) I love being tied to Heavenly Father, and knowing how to grow closer to Him!
I know that this church is true, and that it holds the key to getting back home. A home that we all miss! I know that God lifts us up in our trials, and He doesn't abandon anyone of His children. He never has, and never will! He loves us! I know that I love doing His work, and being His servant here in Texas. Even if it's WAY too hot! ;-)
I love and appreciate all that you do, thank you so much! I hope that my e-mails brighten your week, and help you to feel Father's love for you too!
Anyway, I'll upload pictures and things which will probably take the rest of my time. Hope you enjoy them! ;-)

The Cookie Bags.
The following is the note with the cookies. I added the link to the video since not everyone can read a QR code with their phone(I didn't include the QR code), but that wouldn't normally be on there. ;-)
Hope you enjoy it.

Hello Friend!
Wanted to let you know how much you are appreciated!
Never doubt that you can make a
difference and have made a difference
in the lives of people around you. Know that you will continue to strengthen
others if you are not afraid to share your love and joy with them. God knows
exactly where you are right now in life, and what you are capable of. He’s
helped you build relationships and put you in contact with people He knew you
would be able to help and strengthen.
God put you here in Texas for a reason. He knew you
promised to lift other’s burdens as you take upon yourself the name of Christ
every day. He knows He can trust you to help Him do His work. God places us
where we will grow and succeed by placing us where we can help others. Every
time you have a thought to do something to lift another, and do it, you keep
your covenants, follow the Spirit, and become more like the Savior.
There were many talks this last conference that bring up
similar things; focusing on two: Four
Titles and Come All Ye Sons of God.
In the former Pres. Uchtdorf counsels us to remember we have four very
important titles:
1. [Child] of Heavenly Father
2. Disciple of Jesus Christ
3. Healer of Souls
4. Heir of Eternal Life
They all apply to you. And as
you remember them in your daily life you’ll “discover a divine wind at your
back, lifting you ever upward toward the great inheritance your Heavenly Father
has reserved for you.”
How do we receive that divine wind at our back? By
heeding our Prophet’s voice. He encourages us to search the scriptures with
diligence, plan our life with purpose, teach the truth with testimony, and
serve the Lord with love. If we can do these things we will continually feel
the love of God in our lives.
One last
thing that comes to mind, when watching the worldwide leadership broadcast: The
Work of Salvation, there was a video to the popular hymn, “I’ll Go Where You Want Me to Go”, which can be found on lds.org.
Allow the Spirit to build on your desire to continue to do God’s work through
natural and easy means. He will prompt you, if you will sincerely seek a way to
aid in the work of salvation. The work has been hastened, and a call has been
sounded: join the ranks! J
Have a great day. Love,
A Sheep in the Fold
