Who knew soooooo much could fit in such a small space!!!

Hey Everybody!
So, today is P-day before transfers and guess what I learned! First off, I've been living in the confines of a very small bedroom for four (and a little bit) months! Let me tell you: I did not realize I had the much stuff! I'm not really sure how I got it all here from Memorial Park let alone Utah!!! :-) Now what do I do? I don't think all of my stuff is going to fit in three suitcases anymore?! Hehe! But don't worry, not all of it will come home with me. A lot of it is stuff that will run out and I wont have to replace. However! I must tell you I did get a very precious gift. So, in case you can't tell I'm being transferred. We found out early because my companion is going to be a trainer. I missed that train! (Hehe...I'm so funny) Anyway, because we knew last Thursday night, I was able to tell a couple of people I've been working with. Last night I received a most adorable gift from them. They apparently went to Build-A-Bear on Saturday, and made me a super cute bear! They named it Angell Rose! Isn't that sweet?! I'll have to send a picture next week.
It's been really hard for me to get ready to leave and say goodbye to so many people! I love these people so much! They are all so precious. The people in the ward, the people I've served, the people I've taught....everyone! They are all so special to me and the Lord! I don't really want to leave, but I'm grateful to know that I'm leaving them in the loving care of Sister ----. She is an AMAZING missionary. She is probably the most hard working and loving person next to Grandpa I've ever met! She is really great!
I'm kind of nervous at to where I'm going and to whom I'm going with...I get the feeling a lot of unexpected things are happening. Including four sisters training two trainees and one of those sisters being a 19 year old that's only been out one transfer herself! It's amazing what the Lord is going to do with all these wonderful women!!! He's totally got a plan in action in. If I've learned anything out here it is how purely detailed God's Plan is for each of us. We teach a very generic version of that plan, but the truth is: Heavenly Father has a specific Plan of Salvation for each one of us! It's been prepared since the beginning of time, and He's finally being able to see them unfold!!! One thing's for sure! You'd never want to play any kind of strategy game with Heavenly Father- He has too much patience and He plans things out perfectly!!! I wish I was more like that!!! That's why I'm here! Isn't that great? ;-)
Know that I love you all an extremely incalcuable amount!!! You are special, and I'll talk to you again soon!
Forever,
Sister Christopherson

Happy President's Day! 2/18/13

Hello everyone!
Hope all is well! Just a reminder that transfer meeting is next week, I'll let you know Monday what's happening! ;-) It should be really exciting next Wednesday, they are opening new areas and all sorts of stuff, and there are going to be BIKE ONLY sister areas!!!! That should be fun! Hehe!
I wanted to let you know that I had Bignigets! At least I think that's how you spell it! They are like sweet scones with powdered sugar on top of them. Some really nice members took us out for Brunch on Monday. It was fun.
Yesterday was Stake Conference and it was regional, broadcast from SLC. Elder Scott and Pres. Eyring both spoke. It was really cool. Elder Scott talked about the importance of women and how we are very precious, and talked to the men about taking care of us and helping us know and treating us as such. It's was really an awesome talk!
Sister ---- and I went on exchange so I was serving with Sister ---- for a couple of days, because she had a dream about one of her converts around my area. President set it up so she could come down and visit with her. She had gone inactive, but had been praying and felt like she needed to go back to church. It was a really cool experience. Heavenly Father answers prayers and helps us prepare to be those answers. In turn all things will make sense and we will help each other understand it.
I had a really powerful lesson last night with some Less Actives. We were talking about what Heavenly Father wants us to become, and how we're supposed to do it. I studied hard for it and was completely guided by the Spirit! It was amazing. I know that this is Heavenly Father's work and Christ is the head of this church. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and Thomas S. Monson is one too. I know that we all have a long road ahead of us. Baptism is only the beginning of a long process of becoming like our Heavenly Father and Brother. We all have a lot to learn, and I pray we are humble enough to receive it in our hearts.
I want to let you all know that I love you so much! You are so special to me, and I know that you will make it through the hard things that are going on right now in your lives. I promise that Heavenly Father is mindful of you, because I know he's mindful of me and my prayers for you! Keep the faith, and remember that you are precious to a little ol' sister missionary somewhere down south that might as well be a different coutnry!!! ;-)
Be safe, stay strong, and God bless!
Forever,
Little Sis. Chris.
Baaa....Baaa. Just for you!

Valentine's Day 2013

"Verily I say until you all:
Arise and shine forth,
that thy light
may be a standard for the nations...."

Happy Valentine's!! 2/13/13

Hey everybody!!!
I hope all is well and everybody is in good health with all that cold weather up there! Trust me, it doesn't feel like the year has ended I still haven't seen winter! The weather down here is not what's expected for my personal season chart! That's for sure. It's been a little bit since you've heard from me. I'm doing okay, I'm still in Seabrook and I went to the temple today! It was great! I still love the temple more than anything! I'm so grateful for all the sacrifice that was made that I could enjoy those blessings and that opportunity. From the Atonement, to the endurance of a young prophet and all the saints that came before!
My new companion is great! She is Samoan from Samoa and she is so funny. Her name is Sister ---- ----. I am in fact pretending to learn Samoan. It's super cool. It's a whole lot of vowels. I'll have to say something to you on Mother's Day.
Anyway, I can't tell you how much Heavenly Father loves each of us! These last few weeks have been an adventure. Full of ups and downs and miracles! This weekend is stake conference, and then transfers are coming up again soon. There are twelve new sisters, and there are already nineteen year old sisters in the field with me. In case you were wondering! I think it is so amazing what the Lord has in store for all of us, and what He can do with the very young and willing hearts of the valiant youth!
I'm teaching some new investigators that we found by the Spirit. I'll keep you posted as things progress. I've gotta run now though, so I'll talk to you next week! I love you all so very much!
Forever,
Sis. Chris.

I'm sorry, yesterday was a holiday. ;-) 1/22/13

Just pretend that you are receiving this yesterday early in the morning. Last week I didn't even realize I wouldn't be able to write on Monday. You see, we use library computers to e-mail every week, and they were closed yesterday because of Martin Luther King Jr. day. So, here I am rambling on while you are probably freaking out in anticipation to hear what my transfer fate is....yeah. I know, it's exciting.
Texas has some of the weirdest names for their streets, but this intersection made me smile.
There is also a Friendship, but not intersecting with these two anywhere.
Something cool about transfers, or new missionaries in general. Is we are going to have more than doubled our english speaking sisters by next transfer! According to my calculations everybody will be training at LEAST one sister, and some will be training two! I'm excited to see the miracles the God is bringing to the THSM (Texas Houston South Mission)! So many sisters, and so many young ones. It's amazing the work that will move forward. Elder Ballard said something like, "If you're awake you're seeing the signs of the times...He is hastening His work!" I am so grateful to be alive at this time of preparation for the Savior's coming! I'm grateful to be a part of His missionary army going forth to bring the world His truth! I'm grateful to build up His kingdom. I imagine I am not alone in my rejoicing. :)
This is a snowglobe that made me laugh really hard.
I thought you might enjoy it. Because it's so true! Winters here are LAME! :)
This week has been crazy. We still don't have any solid investigators, but there is always hope and faith for the future. It is coming, with all the miracles around how could it not be?! We've been finding a lot of people who have the desire to come back to the church. To remember what they felt so long ago. We are all missing home in some way or another, and they only way to get the comfort and feeling of home we miss so much is to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. We will always feel at home with those who love us most and through the Spirit we can feel our heavenly family's love. Help someone feel a little more loved this week, because, "The people in your heart, don't know what's in your heart. Tell them that you love them everyday!" Father tells you He loves you everyday! Listen to His tender mercy whispering through the sweet moment you needed most, and then share it with those you love! Know that I love you, probably more than any e-mail, letter, or package can carry but I try to make sure you remember that I do love you. Oh! and by the way...I'm staying in Seabrook, and I will become the Senior companion. Next transfer it would be a surprise if I'm not training. So pray for me! Did it take me long enough to tell you? Hehe...I'll tell you about my new companion next week. :)

Just so you know I finished the Book of Mormon and I've started over!
Keeping up with my New Year Mission Goal!
Don't forget to read, it's a wonderful thing!

Love you forever and always!
Forever,
Sis. Chris.

Family, Family transfers are coming...who knows where I'll really go! 1/14/13

I want you to know that I typed that subject to a song....really that just happened. :) Anyway, Don't mail anything out until next Monday now. I wont know if I'm staying or going until then. I'll try and e-mail earlier in the morning to let you know. There are five new sisters coming into the mission this transfer and sixteen by next transfer. So, this should be exciting. Elder Ballard said with all the mission papers being submitted the twelve is getting worn out issueing calls! :-D I was excited about that. If I'm not training this transfer I'll be training next. That's for sure. And next transfer is only five weeks instead of six because of what they did at the MTC to hold everybody.
The Lord really is hastening the work, be aware of it.
It was really cool to hear from Elder Ballard, but I'll be honest I sat behind the ASL missionaries so I watched the interpreter and listened to the talks; however, I didn't write down a whole ton. He talked a lot about the rescue and getting people back into the church. He talked about working with the members and ward. He read to us from 3 Nephi 11, and talked about that a bit. It was beautiful. I was grateful to have the experience. Bishop Davies' talk was really good too. I learned a lot from the experience, and a lot more from the spirit!
I want you to know that I'm excited to be a part of the mission goal of 1,000 baptisms. But don't think I don't know how that will happen. It will be through mighty miracles and precious people like Bro. ----, ----, and ----. I know that it will come about one at a time. Through helping, serving, and teaching like Christ did. Or as close to that as I can manage and letting the spirit and the Atonement take care of the rest. I know that I am here to do the Lord's work, and I continue to strive to do it.
I've learned throughout my life, that trials are our greatest blessings. Now, don't think they are overally enjoyable, but they are great gifts as we learn to rely on God more than ever before and consistantly. There is an article in the January 2012 Ensign by Elder Christofferson that might be useful if you would like to understand further how trials help us draw near to a Savior and Father. We also receive gifts of patience, endurance, mercy, empathy, etc. through such things. Christ went through the greatest trials of all, not for himself but so He could keep us safe. Such trials help us, help eachother and become a little more Christlike in the process. I'm not asking you to be happy about it, but at least be grateful. :) The joy will come in time. I love you all and wish you the best this week! I would love to hear from you soon! :)

Today, we went over and spent time with a member we're working with. She is a make-up artist and gave us makovers. It was really fun, and we got to know her better. This is what she did to my eyes. :)
This was a cake we made for ----'s grandson's birthday. We are still working with her son to get him back to church, and through the hardships he is facing. It took a lot of time, but it was fun.

Forever,
Sis. Chris.

Echo....Echo? 1/7/13

How is everybody doing? I don't have a ton of time today, because I had to update my mormon.org profile, and I wrote a really long e-mail to President ----. I can tell you I'm excited for this weekend! Elder Ballard is coming to visit the Texas Houston missions; really he is coming for the Houston South mission but we let the other two come along. :-) I get my humility from my Bapa! ;-) Anyway, so I'm super excited for that, I'll have to let you know some about it next week. For me I've had a pretty rough week, our one investigator that was going to be baptized this month got taken away by her "husband". I'm not really sure if we'll see her again. All of our other investigators dropped us or we had to drop them. So it seems we're starting back at the bottom. Since this is a brand new ward, it's been really hard to get missionary work off the ground. We're still building it up, and the members are great but there is still a lot of work to do and we can't do it all. I've kind of come to a stall in my inexperience I don't know how to handle the situation; that's in part why I'm looking forward to Elder Ballard. I'm sure he will bring some answers to my pondering heart as to the direction I must go.
I want you to know that I truly believe we will get 1,000 baptisms by the end of the year. I know that it wont be easy, but I know that the Lord has already prepared and is setting forth the plan. I'm just blessed to be a part of it. I have to believe that this part of my mission is very important and essential to my ability to play my part in His plan for this mission. I want to thank you for all the prayers and love you offer me. And those who've encouraged me with written words as well. I know that I have not been left alone here, and there is a larger plan I don't see. All is well, just a little rocky. :)
I pray all of you have a most wonderful week! In case you don't remember, I resolved to finish the Book of Mormon five times before the end of the year. I'm currently at Helaman, and hopefully will finish it with in the month. So that I can read it once every two transfers the rest of my mission. How are your resolutions coming? I'd love to hear about your progress and your goals, and you in general!
Love you very much!

Forever,
Sis. Chris.

Happy New Year's Eve! It's gonna be good! 12/31/12

Hey everybody!
I can't tell you how excited I am for the new year! I am just so excited that everything is moving forward, we're going into a new year of mighty miracles! God is fulfilling the prophecies, He has always kept His promises! I'm excited to be moving the work forward in preparation for the Savior's return. I'm excited to be a part of 1,000 souls coming unto Christ through baptism! I'm excited to be a laborer in His vineyard! I'm shaking with excitement for all the Lord has in store for this new year!!! Are you?! If not you only have a few hours left to get there! Good things are coming, so many good things! And they'll come in spite of bad days and sore trials.
Opening presents Christmas morning!
They'll come regardless of how heavy our burden seems to be! They'll come to lift the burden, they'll come to bring forgiveness and peace, they'll come so you can feel the most powerful thing in the universe: The Savior's love!!! Yeah...it's coming. But don't forget to look for it. Because too often people get stuck in the burden and don't let the Lord lighten the load. 2013 will be a year to sing praises to our God and King! As we look around we will see that He has not forsaken us, nor will He ever! It fills my soul to have such a knowledge!
Sorry, I guess I went a little crazy there, but I'm just soo full of excitement for what God has in store for me and you and every one of His valiant children. The day is not yet, so keep on enduring, and be of good cheer because the time is now to feel the Savior's love! I feel that with my whole heart! I'm so grateful that I answered when the Lord called. I'm so grateful that I've been able to bring such great news and overwhelming joy to people that I've met. I'm so grateful that all of you will be blessed because of my service. I'm so grateful that I know I  have a loving Heavenly Father! I'm so grateful; so, so grateful!
See how far I've come...I'm holding turtles WITHOUT anything between me and the turtle. ;-) You wont even know who I am when I come home. ;-D

Know that I love you all, and wish you the very best blessings this coming year! May we all continue in the way of the Lord!

Forever,
Sis. Angell Christopherson

Great is the Lord our God! 12/26/12

Hello my loved ones!
Thank you for all your love and support in my mission and this Christmas season! I really enjoyed all the gifts that were sent, and I'm sincerely grateful for all of them! It was so wonderful to see and talk to most of you yesterday! It was a great blessing.
This is my gift from Shannon, and my new Christmas Jammies from Sister Chamberlain! ;-)
Heavenly Father loves me!
All is well in the work down here, and I'm excited for the start of the new year and the many miralces that are coming mighty and minor! I know that God is real, and He is a God of miracles! So, keep a look out for them and tell me about them! I'd love to know how God is blessing you as much as you want to know about how He is blessing me! :-)
This is me and my trainer and her other trainees..."family photo".
She is going home at the end of this transfer.
Anyway, not much time. Know that I love you and I miss you very much! These words don't seem to have room to carry the sincere feeling of my heart as I express them to you...Take as much as you receive though!
Forever,
Sis. Chris.

Christmas Card 2012

Merry Christmas!
I miss you - keep the faith!
<3 / Sis. Chris.

Isaiah 49:16: "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."

1 Nephi 21:16: "Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me."

Remember the Savior; He remembers you! :)

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.....never seemed so real. :) 12/17/12

So, guess what?! I will not be having P-day on Monday. So, I don't know when you'll be hearing from me next week or the week after. Who knows? So, since I don't have another chance I want you all to know that I'm thinking of you, and love you very much! I hope everyone's holiday season is most wonderful. May God help you feel my love from so far away, and bring you joy as you celebrate such a sacred, and special season!
Don't do anything crazy, please be safe.
I'm sorry I can't leave you with more of a message, but time is short and I have a lot to do this hour I have to write. I'll talk to you soon!
Thanks for everything you do and for all of the support! :)
Forever,
Sister Christopherson

Sister Lewis and I did some service and raked up a TON of leaves! We ended with 17 bags STUFFED and that not very little box full with leaves. It was some good hard work, and it was so fun! It was a miracle we compacted it down to that!
These are most of the nativities that are in our house. Sister Chamberlain has collected them from all over the world. There are some from Japan, Germany, Italy, Texas, Russia, Idaho, Hawaii, Thailand, etc. It's actually really cool. There is not enough time to send you detailed pictures of every one though. So, you'll have to see them next year! ;-)

Stayin' where the Lord wants me! 12/10/12

Hello Everyone!
How is everybody doing? I'm sure there is lots of excitment for the Christmas season! I'm sure loving the feeling of remembering my Savior's birth, and the exciting idea of when He will come again! :-) I don't know what you are doing for Christmas this year, but don't forget to think about our Savior. I've been loving the Christmas decorations going up all over Seabrook, and I've noticed there are some really pretty houses decorated more than anything I've ever seen, and there is not even a glimmer of remembrance; nothing about the Savior at all.
This is a fire hydrent dressed up like Santa....that is all.
It makes me think of how the world really is, and they've done a very good job of trying to take God and Christ out of everything we are...even Christmas! But the truth still remains, Christ is in all of us. Give a gift to the Savior this season, do something at the temple, or share a message of His love with someone, start giving more time to the Lord in scripture study, prayer, or service. Whatever you do, do it with all of your heart! Give thanks for all that Christ has done for you; He showed His love for you throughout His life here on earth starting with His humble birth. Show your thanks and love for Him throughout this season and into the coming years. As Elder Holland commented at conference I'm sure He's asking each one of us: "Do you love me?" Let's show Him our love!
This is a NASA Spaceman Nutcracker on the Moon.
[My name for it is the Astro-naut-cracker!]
This is me holding the NASA Spaceman Nutcracker on the Moon. :-)
I thought I would share it with you because it makes me smile and I went to NASA.

I want you to know that I love you, I really love you all! My heart is with you, and I pray all is well. Be safe and healthy and create the most precious memories with eachother. Don't waste your time on big presents or commercial things, spend your time on the Lord. Create memories with those you love and He will be with you too. May God watch over you while I'm away, and bless you this holiday season.
Forever,
Sister Christopherson

This is me.

Next week I want to send you pictures of all the Nativities that Sister Chamberlain has up. She has collected them from all over the world. They are really beautiful. I'm excited to share.

Super Post Script: In case you missed it, I'm staying in Seabrook for Christmas!

Happy December Y'all! 12/3/12

Howdy everybody! :)
So, I don't have any super big adventures this week. In fact I was put on house arrest....hehe! I didn't do anything crazy, but I was super sick and I wasn't staying in so it was getting worse. So, I got told to stay in and I did. I'm doing much better now. I'm not quite to the finish line, but I'm definitely out of the gate. However, I tell you this so that I can show you a tender mercy of the Lord in my life. I had strep and I was throwing up a lot. Couldn't keep anything down, couldn't swallow, lost my voice for like the whole week. (That is actually still touch and go). I got to brush up on my sign language, and my companion had to learn so patience with it, because she doesn't know sign language. It was a good adventure. Anyway, back to the tender mercy. Through all of this pain and sickness, I was praying for a little bit of comfort. I'll tell you how that prayer was answered. On the day it was at it's worst I received a something I honestly wasn't expecting in the mail. A cute little turkey puzzle! I want you to know that I don't know who thought of it, but I don't doubt that Father inspired and got it here just in time. I want to thank you for your messages of love and encouragement. I want to thank you for thinking of me at Thanksgiving, and I want to thank you for letting me know. I recognize it as one of the many comforts God has sent me this week in my time of trial. So thank you for following your prompting, thank you for your strength.
I was going to send a picture with this e-mail to see if I did it right, I mean all the messages made sense, but you never know. :-) However, I forgot to take a picture with it. So, I guess you'll never know.
I can't believe that I've been out for six months! That is a little crazy to me. It feels like I've been gone forever, and not that long all at the same time. It's all sorts of crazy. I hope this next year will be as fruitful as these last few months, and I'm looking forward to seeing you next Christmas! ;-) God be with you, and bless you.
Also, next week is transfers. So hold on to any letters to be sent out Monday until after I e-mail you. So you know if I'm staying in Seabrook or moving on to the next adventure. It's likely I'm staying, but you never know what the Lord will do with you! :)

Pictures
I thought this was a funny sign that you might enjoy. And it's not a bad picture either. :)

This was hanging on our front door, and I thought it was funny because "the field is white", you know? Do you get it? :-D
This is me and a Turkey cupcake! They're super cute and delicious! :)

Remember that I love you forever and always! Keep the faith!
Forever,

Sister Christopherson

NASA!!! 11/26/12

Hey everybody! I'm going to try and send you a handful of pictures so the e-mail might be short and you'll have a lot of them! Anyway, I live with a NASA doctor, basically he makes sure the astronauts are all good before, during, and after their space flight experience. And because he is who he is, I got to go places that normal people don't really get to go a lot.

I went into the places where they do the training for everybody. I got to see all sorts of stuff up close, and it was SOOOOO exciting! I was like a kid at Christmas! (haha, look at me being funny.)
If you were wondering I was taken care of for Thanksgiving, but it was NOT the traditional meal I remember. And like nobody actually has Thanksgiving at night here. It's Thanksgiving lunch with the football game. The Texans won don't worry. I was under the impression that Thanksgiving was about family, and eating, and giving thanks, and all those fun things....not in Texas. Here Thanksgiving is about football. That's all. As we all know, I was a little out of place in those conversations. Partly, because I can't watch the game, and partly because I don't believe the Texans winning will effect my eternal salvation in anyway, so, I have no interest in it. I guess after my mission I'll have to look into it a little more closely....try and figure out what all the fuss is, you know? :-D
Anyway, Here are as many pictures as I can send you before my time runs out. All is well in Texas. :) Sending all my love your way!
Forever,
Sister Christopherson
I'm a shuttle driver!!! I'm sitting where REAL astronauts have been....that's right....I'm famous. ;-)

I wanted to know who got permission to put a Christmas tree up at NASA....Just sayin'. It made me happy!

Real Flight Director on call at that time...That's right I was in an active command station! Looking at space!!!

Sorry, but this is the end. Hope you enjoy the pictures! Love you more than anything!!!! :D

Oh, the stories you get on your mission.... there's nothing like 'em! 11/19/12

Hello Everybody!
I hope everybody has a most wonderful Thanksgiving this week! It's going to be a little weird not being able to snitch dressing when Bapa's not looking, and no bubbly...none of that. However, I do get to spend Thanksgiving with a fantastically hillarious Scottish woman who I love! She makes me laugh so much! I had a crazy week! But most of the stories I have I don't think I should share with you....it's been a strange week. However, I got to go on exchanges with my MTC companion Sister ----. I love her! And it was so much fun teaching real people with her. We actually had a really cool experience. We were trying to figure out where to go, so we said a prayer and looked at the ward list, and we decided on a Sister I had never met. We got there and were sitting outside the house going. We have no idea why we're here! So we said another prayer to make sure we were in the right spot. And we were. So, we went up to the house, and we had a really cool lesson with her. She has been struggling and we were there as a reminder the Heavenly Father is aware of all of His children even when His servants are not! I didn't know this person, this precious daughter of God, but Heavenly Father knew she needed to be reminded of His love for her. I was grateful to be a willing servant and to give the message to her.
Pictures:
Sister ----'s year mark picture. We were eating gingerbread house ice cream with tiny spoons. It was fun.

This is just funny! Enjoy!

This is Sister ---- and I on our exchange.

This is a sign in the middle of a residential area....no hiking. It was something I felt needed to be shared. Texas is still crazy!
Know that I'm grateful for every one of you, and for all you do. I love you and miss you very much. I appreciate all you do for me and have done for me. I don't know where I would be without you! Remember my love for you at this time, and remember God's love for you. He is aware of you....ever aware of you and your struggles. Remember, please remember. Hold to the truth, and be who God intends you to be.

I can testify that being obedient to the commandments. Every single one, will bring you more blessings, in more ways than you could ever imagine. It's not worth living the gospel half way, it's not worth keeping on half the commandments. You will sacrifice more than you know if you are not doing your best to be obedient to your loving Heavenly Father. He loves you, knows you, and more miraculously knows what's best for you! Trust in Him and find out His plan for you!

God be with you,
Forever,

Sister Christopherson

Hello, Hello! Don't worry I didn't forget! 11/14/12

Happy Marine Corps Birthday!!! And Vetrans day! I told you I didn't forget! ;-D
Anyway, I bet you're wondering why I didn't write you Monday...Well, because we thought the Library would be closed but it wasn't! :) And yesterday I was in a conference all day with the 1/2 the mission, and the other 1/2 is having their  conference today. So here I am, and you're all probably thinking that I don't love you anymore, but that is not true. I've been thinking about you since I left! Well, as much as I can and still be doing the Lord's work anyway. :) I'm growing accustomed to Seabrook. It's different than Houston that's for sure! They just barely set a part the R.S. President. She is a really cool lady. She is Scottish, and when I met her she was talking about getting asked to be the president, and she said, "Last time I was Relief Society President Moses was the Bishop!" I laughed a little and thought you might too.
This last week has been rough. Me and my companion were both sick! I got a cold! Who get's a cold in Texas! I guess the AC was on 70 instead of it's usual 75 degrees. I'm doing a lot better now though so don't worry! Anyway, I have some exciting news. Did I tell you I live in the home of a NASA doctor? Well, I do. And next Tuesday I get to go on a special tour of NASA!!! Guess who is super-super excited...? I AM! I'll have to send you pictures. :) Also, I am sending some pictures today. I wanted you to see the house I live in and show you my cool Mustard yellow coat! That's right I'm still a twin! Let Dot and Charly know. ;-D

...Me in front of the house in my coat!
...Me and my companion Sister Lewis! :)
...Me holding a turtle....I haven't changed too much there is a towel under it preventing me from touching it.
Close up of turtle.

This I just thought you might enjoy! Happy Thanksgiving!
What are you thankful for this year? :)
I want you to know, I am grateful. My whole heart is full  that I have a knowledge of the gospel and I get to share with everyone I meet! I'm so lucky to be a missionary, and I want you to know that God is a God of miracles! If you haven't seen His hand in your life look closer, because He is there! And if you want to see it more be obedient to things you know to be true. Be good. I  you to know that I know that my Savior is real, He lives! I'm grateful for all that He has done my life. All that I am is through Him! I know it! And I'm grateful to know it! I send all my love to you, be safe and stay healthy.
Forever,

Sister Christopherson

Drum Roll Please.......Here am I! 11/5/12

Salutations from Seabrook!
Hey, Hope all is well with everybody, and I pray if there is hardship or physical distress in anyway that the Lord with be there to strengthen you. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you.
My new address is:
2209 Lake Cove Way
Seabrook, TX 77586
I hope at least some of you will take the time to use it! ;-) Letters that go to the Mission Office with take a lot longer to get to me know, because I'm further away. Somebody from out here needs to go inland with a purpose other than mail, and then they can bring back the mail if they remember. That's how that works. I moved from an apartment to a bedroom. We live IN a members home and we get a little bedroom and our own bathroom. I didn't realize I had so many things! ;-) The room is a large-small bedroom with two sisters living in it. Crazy! My area covers small towns along the coast and borders the Galveston area. However, the ward just barely got split roughly a month ago, and we just got our Relief Society president called on Sunday, and Primary partly organized. I don't know it's a little out of control, but we'll fix that soon! My new companion is tons of fun. She is from Vegas and her name is Sister Lewis.

Photos:

I HAD to get these pictures....I'm sure you understand why. :-D
I hope I sent the right one....Right to Left: My companion, Previous companion, 1st MTC companion, me. There was a motorbike rally on Galveston so the Galveston sisters had to come stay with us in our tiny room. It was out of control!
Anyway I'm out of time, so I have to sign off, but remember that I love you all very much! Don't forget to pray and fortify yourself against the things that easily beset you! Our Father misses the sound of your voice! Rock the Gospel - Live it!

Forever,
Sis. Chris.
